AUSTIN - In the latest goofy antic by driverless rideshare company Waymo, one of its signature white sedans drove straight through the home of a middle aged couple late Wednesday night.

"I came down for a midnight snack and there it was, just scarfing down my leftover pizza," said Gerald, an accountant for a tech firm that had moved from California to dodge taxes.

"I tried to nudge it outside, but it had gotten into the tequila and ended up passing out on our brand new hardwood flooring," said Anne, who initially didn't hear the intruder due to Gerald's loud snoring.

As of publication, the vehicle was still stranded in the couple's house, with no timeline given for removal.

"The great thing is there are no laws on the books to ticket us, fine us, or punish us in any way shape or form," said a Waymo AI agent. "We lobbied politicians from both parties to make sure of that."
